My name, as you may have gathered, is Ian Chrisafis. I’m a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill’s English and Comparative Literature department, with a focus in Creative Writing and a Minor in Writing for the Screen and Stage. 

My skills extend deep into the craft of writing, be it creative, professional, or academic. I also have a passion for editing, and have worked as a beta-reader and developmental editor for various independent authors. Grammar isn’t just a hobby for me, it’s a lifestyle! I have the keen eye required for copy editing and proofreading and the delicate touch required to tell you when a beautiful sentence just isn't working. 

When I’m not writing, I enjoy gardening and being in nature. After working at the North Carolina Botanical Gardens for almost my entire collegiate career, my green thumb has blossomed. If my hands aren’t dirty, I also enjoy cooking, baking, spending time with my partner, and playing with my puppy. Her luminous brown eyes can get me out of any writing slump.
